Budget PC Gaming Rig.

Thread Starter
So the question was originally brought up in the amd section considering the route i was aiming for. Someone mentioned a Intel 2core CPU over a 965BE AMD cpu. I know alot of you would not even consider a dual core pentium. But my budget is not great overall. With that in mind. would the intel group/forum recommend a 2core pentium over a AMD 965BE? More info can be found in the AMD section here is the Link: http://www.overclock.net/t/1334912/budget-gaming-rig-help

As far i know(not a big OC'er) but the intel cpu's where not overclock friendly unless it was the K series. And well a I3/5/7 where more of the recommended groups but the price's are kinda steep for my upgrades/slow build.

Thank you for any information regarding the issue.

the 965be is a great processor and will do you well. and since its amd you can buy an AM3+ mobo and later upgrade to a newer processor when the money comes along but honestly you cant go wrong with that processor. Now you can look at it the same way with the intel I3 series and later upgrade to the I7 series
