Ok I just got a new asus nvidia GeForce gtx 660 ti for Christmas but I installed it in my computer to insure that it works and well it doesn't or something in my computer doesn't. So what happens is I installed the card all normal like did it just fine I boot up my computer install the drivers and my pc (Windows 8 64bit) restarts itself randomly (this is after I restarted to install the drivers mind you) I goto play fallout three bought it last night. So the game boots up I click continue I goto to walk out a door and my computer restarts again. When I was running intel hd graphics 4000 my games would crash and lock my comp I had to 1. Unplug it or 2. Hard shut down. I thinks it's the motherboard but I don't know that's why I'm here.

The crashing when I put the new card in is completely random for all I know.

Intel hd graphics crash I can make it do it on occasions.

I didn't do anything to make stuff crash didn't mess with the files just installed drivers and done.

I expected windows to say the game has stopped working not restart itself or lock up.

Specs:

Check your Power supply. Maybe not enough juice to power your Graphics card
