Help with Pump and Res Mounting :S

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
Hi, I'm coming from a drive bay res in a mAXT case to Switch 810 where I was to mount the pump down near the rad in the bottom of the case. Is it possible to mount a pump directly onto the radiator ?
I have a D5 pump and want to get a top for it. Would this be a good choice ? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-303-EK&campaign=pcm/googleshopping&pup_c=gs
Also, how do I go about mounting an internal resovoir ? I'll probably be getting one of the bitspower ones. Perhaps this one, http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Bitspower-Z-Multi-150mm-Water-Tank-Reservoir--BP-WTZM150P-BK-pid-11460.html
I know they come with holder clips but what do these attach to inside of the case ? Is it possible to have it directly set up on top of the pump which in turn will be attached to the rad at the bottom?
What kind of brackets/stuff do I need for this ?

That pump top is fine and will work. I would consider this one;
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-185-XS&groupid=962&catid=2141&subcat=2143

but you cannot go wrong with either one thumb.gif

For the rest, a quick search throws up this thread;
http://www.overclock.net/t/1196038/mounting-ek-reservoir-in-m8-case/0_100

It would seem most people use heavy duty double sided tape and/or velcro straps.

Hope this helps,
Sunny.
