AMD Phenom II X4 + Samsung RAM - Page 2

Deneb IMCs generally have problems with running memory above 900MHz, but 800MHz should be not a problem.
Given my experience with various Samsung-based kits (mostly on Intel though), you should be able to get 6-7-7 to run at 800MHz if you're lucky and 7-7-7 even if you're not.

I tried 7-8-7-24 @ 1.5 volts People say increasing voltage past that doesn't do much but ill try 1.55 later tonight maybe it needs 7-7-7-21 iono, I'll play around a little more, thanks for the tip, would be great to see 7-7-7 timings

edit: just outa curiosity anyone put spreaders/cooling on these things? does it help?

I'm surprised you even got it running at 1866mhz considering the low imc of your chip.

yeah the IMCs suck on these compared to newer chips, but in order to do 1866 I think I had to lower my CPU clock, and I dont think it was really worth it, everything I did usually resuslted in such similar results that it was too hard to declare one setting was better than another (could have just been system stuff running in background).
