our VP2770 lead the pack on refresh rate. I am so happy with mine.

and input lag is just 6 milliseconds behind the top contender

I've been checking out the LG 27EA83V on Amazon. Brand new model it seems. I wonder what the difference is between the LG 27EA83R, LG 27EA83D and the LG 27EA83V. Hmmmmm.....

Yup. Originally gave me the same shpeel. Had to call them in person to get to them agree to send me another one, but she said they had to review it first because it's standard procedure.

I woudn't trust Tom's Hardware to be even remotely accurate, (they have the 2770 listed as IPS, so they clearly didn't do any research) but it is nice to see that it's still the fastest panel with even with shennanigan review methods.

I almost purchased another VP2770 since it's an awesome monitor but I now lack trust in QC after going through 3 of them. I ordered an LG 27EA83V from Amazon today. I'm praying to the monitor God's that I finally get a good one.

LG is one of those companies where I look at their products and say "...you make everyone else's stuff, yet your own product line is uninspiring ..bro?". I'd take a Dell over an LG pretty much anyday. The U2713HM is supposed to be almost as good as the 2770. Better at some things.

So surprisingly enough, the original order is better than the other two. Amazon is sending yet another replacement on Monday so I'll see if that one is dirt/dead pixel free with even backlighting. If not, I'll just keep the first one since it has perfect backlight unformity, no bleed and only has one piece of dirt.
My first VP2770 would have been perfect if it wasn't for that Damn dust particle. No bl bleeding and great uniformity.

I own a Dell U2713hm and the cross hatching pattern is getting annoying. I am thinking about returning it to get a VP2770 . Are there still issues with this monitor? Seems like a great monitor with some back light bleeding issues like all high res monitors.

Also can you remove that energy star sticker in the upper right hand corner?

Thanks!

I went from a U2711 to a VP2770 and love it. I have had mine since launch, its awesome. I did look at the U2713hm and the cross hatching bothered me as well.
