Recommend me a GTX 670!

Hi guys

So I've come into a bit of money and want a new graphics card

I've been tossing it up between a 660ti and 670 and decided the 670 will probably last longer

Which 670 do you guys recommend? I've always liked the EVGA ones as I think they look a lot better than others

Thanks

whats the budget?

I always go EVGA.... hands down best cards IMHO and am currently running a 670 from them

£300 roughly, can be slightly more but the EVGA ones are about 300

What games do you play? I've owned the Gigabyte 2GB GTX670 with the Windforce x3 cooler, it's a great card and I highly recommend it it you want a cool single card. Recently switched to EVGA 4GB because I was running into issues with not enough vram for highly modded skyrim and I wanted to SLI so the EVGA was the better choice.

At the moment just black ops 2 and CSS, so not power hungry games but there's some games out/coming out that I'm getting which will need a bit more power and the 670 will last longer than my 560

Also I'm getting a second monitor soon so will have 2 screens that need powering

Yes they are voltage locked via bios but can be modded to increase voltages. Either way OP you can't go wrong with either the Windforce or the FTW. Both are great cards and from what I've seen on the forums they are good overclockers. In the end it's up to preference really. For more info check out this tom's article:

i have one of these 670's

http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_557_559&item_id=048979

not a crazy overclock on it (1215Mhz max boost and 7GHz memory)

however the stock cooler on this one kind of sucks, frequently on the stock cooler i was hitting 70+C, sweet card once i popped one of these water blocks on it
