Review of the Deathadder 2013 - Page 18

I think the first batch of DE 2013s were defective because the new one I just got is completely different. It feels lighter, the right click isn't stupid easy to click anymore, and the scroll wheel feels a lot better.

i don't think so.
the few DA2013s around are propably all from the same on.

For those with the spinning issue: install Synapse. A new firmware for your mouse was released through Synapse 2.0 that resolves the spinning issue.

Hope that helps! Mine never had the issue, but I updated my firmware regardless. smile.gif

ITS TRUE!!! I bought my 2013 mouse about a week ago... I got pretty pissed off when I noticed the "spinning" issues while playing Battlefield 3 and CS GO... I was actually going to RMA the mouse on the weekend when I noticed a firmware update coming in through Synapse and it solved all my issues... I even had a little Battlefield 3/Starcraft 2/DOTA 2 gaming sesh just to put the mouse through its paces, and noticed no issues at all during my gaming... This is probably the best mouse I've ever used, it sure pissed me off at first though

I thought that the dpi settings would not stay saved. Fortunately after configuring to 400Dpi it stays that way on other pcs too biggrin.gif

Just got my deathadder 2013!
It's my first deathadder so I've had no experience with past deathadders and their drivers.
I'm wondering if its best to use synapse with the mouse calibration or run synapse once sort out the settings and uninstall ?
I know from experience with my Copperhead (lazer) that the tracking was better without the drivers.

Cheers

I've had absolutely zero issues by leaving Synapse 2.0 running in windows 8 so far. They even release firmware updates through the driver software and flash the mouse for you.

Tracking feels identical to me with or without the drivers installed. I run my mouse at 1800dpi
