P.S. I think my internet is too slow.

There's a difference between wanting faster internet, and complaining about how slow your 90mb connection is tongue.gif.

On the other hand, when we all know it COULD be faster, then there's more reasoning to get mad.

10 Mb down, 768k up here...and I have the fastest and most expensive residential package available in my town.

Lack of competition sucks...the rural electric/comm coop is now providing 100 Mb up/down for $30 a month but you have to live outside city limits. If you're in city limits, then you can't get them and it costs $70 per month for 10 Mb down/768k up.

Still, it's cool to see these new backbone technologies being developed. Give it another few decades or so and you won't have to wait for anything to transfer.

This. Home has 8/1Mb, this place has 35/9 and for most tasks there isn't much of a difference. Granted, the ISP here is comcast and it sucks tremendously.

An absolute rip-off IMO.

130 a month for 3 down 1.5 up, and i usually am lucky to get half that. ping is decent though, most of the time anyway. I'm also stuck with no competition where i live, it's almost painful.
