Love the price, you are the second to recommend the Samsung set, should I be overly worried about the timings? 11, 11,11,28? I usually go with crucial and they are showing 9,9,9,x. Are timings as critical as they used to be? Is it worth the extra $50?

you will find with the samsung you can tighten the timings to something like 8-8-8-2x 1T and 1600 maybe even CL9 at 1866 CL10 at 2100/2133 is a rough estimate.

look at the samsung ram thread

At 1600mhz you can actually get 7-7-7-20-1t that is the tightest I can get stable. The best speed I can push is 2400mhz with 10-11-11-28-1T. Some can even push it to 2600. thumb.gif
