Cant get my Ram up to speed - wont boot ? any help ?

Hi - i just put a system together and having a few issues - let me start with one of them now

i got the A10 and Gigabyte 85x up4 board -

i got two 4 gig sticks of Crucial tracer ram - rated to run at 1866 at 1.5 volts - 9 9 9 27

now my system dosnt pick it up at this speed - its at default 1333 - i think 9 10 9 24

would anyone know how to guide me to make what ever changes i need to make to get it up to rated speed and stable

i went in the bios and clicked A.M.P profile - should bring it to speed but not booting up correctly

i then manually changed it to 1866 and same thing - i had to put bios to default - to boot and run stable

i know i am missing some steps - i dont know which to change -

anyone have the same setup - board etc, that can walk me thru

thanks

When you manually inputted 1866, did you also set the proper timings and volts in the A.M.P. profile?

You need to use the X.M.P profile mate and do as suggested above. I don't leave any voltage on auto anyway. Set everything manually and your timings and you should be sweet.

i dont think i did that -

i though once i put it on A.M.P profile - - it would auto set it to the Ram specs -

now i am not sure what to adjust in volts etc, - its set at 1.5 volts - which this ram is suppose to run with at the rated speed

i didnt touch any volts - just tried the A.M.P profile - - and thats it -

i am sure i am not adjusting everything that i need to be - i need help to walk me thru the steps
