this is probably a better deal even tho it cost more but has 3 free games and $25 MIR and personally i would spend the extra to buy from a retailer than eBay

I'm running a e8500 with gtx 470 and average is just a little over 50fps 1080p ultra dx11. With the route that games are going these days, I see no need for newer cpu.

This is true i have ran several multi gpu systems with the q6600 and works fine if you ask me. Also i did an e8400 with same cards and had no issues with a high clock! You could last a while longer with a q6600!

My q6600 @3.8ghz handles 7970 crossfire almost as well as my current cpu. I just fold on my Q6600 system now with 3 GTX 285s
