A little OC guidence please

Thread Starter
So, I've read every guide on here about OCing your system. Since this is my first time, I'm sure you can understand that I'm a bit nervous about it. I've seen some realy impressive OCs on here and am more than ready to give it a try myself. This is where you guys come in. Posted below are some screens of the spects on my system according to CPU-Z and SpeedFan. As of right now of course everything is at its stock settings. I do have a couple of questions i hope you can answer that will help guide me down the OCing path.
  1. Does it matter what order you start in? For example, OC the cpu first, then ram, then vid card ect.
  2. Given my specs, are there any suggestions you can give, such as what settings to change and to what?

Let me say that everyone here is always such a big help. I've learned alot in the short time i've been a member here, and i know I'll learn a lot more from all of you.

The order does not matter since when you OC the CPU the ram increases with it. When you overclock the CPU you do this by increasing the FSB, and your ram runs at 2x the FSB since it is DDR2. Overclocking the graphics card does not effect the CPU. In your motherboard specs you posted the Intel P965, that is the chipset not the motherboard, what motherboard are you using?
