I7 3770K with H100 - Jumping Core Temperatures issue

Hello,

First of all I want to tell you guys im new here. Hopefully I can find some good answers / Solutions for my concerns.

Ive got a new custom build pc which is 2 days old, operating perfectly at this moment, though im a bit worried about the fact that the Idle core temperatures are jumping constantly between 20.C and 30/35.C every second on all cores. The Jumping is what worries me to dead at this moment.

On the other side my bios says that the Cpu temperature is 24.C, which seems a bit odd to me that it says 24C constantly

The thing is that im new to intel because I had 2 AMD's before this new system so that is why I put my concerns with you, hopefully I can get some answers from the community here.

I got the Ivy 3770K with the H100 Corsair running on the Sabertooth Z77, 2x8GB Vengeance 1600, GTX680 DC2T, 850W CM Silent M2, OCZ Agility and Onyx, WD 500G

Under full load the cores are a bit more stable (not jumping constantly) between 55 and 60.C

Is it normal the core temperatures are jumping constantly? or could it be something else?
Looking forward to hear your thoughts, answers and solutions about this.

Thanks in advance

Pim

Well the temp is fine imho, the thing is that im worried about the jumping of the cores constantly.
Im not really sure if this is normal for the 3770k.

there will be about a 5c difference between your idle core min's and max's, and your load temps are fine. I almost have the same setup as you. if your core temps are off by much more the 5c you can delid your cpu which I wouldn't do cause I did and didn't lower temps at all. Since you just put everything together if your not happy with you temps take it back to where you bought it and exchange it for a new one.
