Right, but I can't get through to them or get them to acknowledge the issue.
They won't fix something they don't acknowledge :/
Like I said people have been having this identical problem for multiple generations. It doesn't seem to be on their fix-it list.

The stuttering has improved a lot since I first started messing with it, but I sorely miss vsync. I can't stand the epic screen tearing in DX10/11 games. DX9 is beautiful and smooth, then I fire up Battlefield 3 / Sleeping Dogs / Bad Company 2 / Black Ops 2 and cry a little. Tearing and micro-stuttering. The micro stuttering I can deal with more than the lack of vsync. (Before, the stuttering wasn't micro by any stretch of the imagination)

I know micro-stuttering is pretty normal with multi-GPU, so whatever. My main complaint is vsync.

Crappy AMD/ATI drivers made me leave AMD and go for Nvidia i had 4 AMD cards in a row the first 1 was okey the next 2 cards where crap each one died within a year the next and last AMD card i had was so loud it gave me headaches and even my ears would hurt after all that crap my loyalty to AMD went out the window
In am soon going to try doing my first multiple video card setup with 2 GTX 680 in SLI if i tried doing Crossfire with the crappy AMD drivers i am afraid my PC would blow up or something

do you have any issues if you disable xfire?

i have zero problems with sleeping dogs on a single 7970...mind you i have it set for extreme and HD textures, so i never hit 60fps to test vsync. but even at 35-40fps its smooth as silk.

Eyefinity = fine.
Crossfire = fine.
Crossfire AND Eyefinity = the problems I describe.

When I saw ATI in the thread title, I assumed this was some NECRO posted thread.

Do you have any of the same issues when running a single 7970?

Ah, I should also note this.

I thought it could be caused by mixing outputs (I was using Displayport + Displayport + DVI), so I tried dual-monitor Eyefinity using like-outputs (Displayport + Displayport) and nothing changed.

OP you clearly don't want any help and just want to vent.....
This thread should be moved to the Rants section.

The only reason that suggestions are getting "shot down" is because I've tried them frown.gif
I still very much would like more suggestions. I apologize if I have already tried them.
