New monitor or HD's?

Ok I'm looking at the sale ad's and my wife gives me the go-ahead on trying to get a 19" wide screen Samsung tomorrow at bestbuy. The catch is I'm not able to buy 2x sata drives- IF I buy the LCD.

Help me decide what to do.

Here's the specs/link

Monitor Type Widescreen flat-panel LCD
Display Type LCD
Screen Size 19"
Maximum Resolution 1440 x 900
Aspect Ratio 16:9
Response Time 2 ms
Brightness 300 cd/m²
Contrast Ratio 2000:1
Dot Pitch 0.28mm

The drives I'd be getting:
16mb cache, Sata II, 250gb each

Reasons to get:
  • Because its an awesome deal.

Reasons not to get:
  • I can get the HD's off of the egg and not have to leave my house.
  • I won't have to wake up or not go to sleep tonight whatever to stand in line for hours.
  • I already have a nice 21" CRT.

I would also say go the HD's. I personally see no reason for you to go to LCD considering you will more than likely have to run it at a lower resolution then your current 21' CRT monitor. I just think the HD's are a better way to spend your money... just my 2 cp.

Thanks for the advice, just needed some more reassurance. Glad I'll be staying home in my nice warm bed all night.
