After removing 7950

Thread Starter
This is very weird, after removing the 7950 from my system and putting back the 6970. Before putting my old card back in i uninstall the amd drivers completely, ran ccleaner and driver sweeper. For some weird reason in bf3 now i feel at some point the game reacts slow and then it starts playing normally. Could it be a driver issue, also i did install my new cpu 8350 and its currently at 4.5ghz. Please let me know what could be the issue.

What is the proper way to ensure all the drivers are removed before doing a fresh installation. is atiman uninstaller good? i hear it corrupts the system.

I honestly run the amd drivers and select uninstall and power off > exchange cards> reload drivers. atiuninstaller screwed my system up and after running driver sweeper once the second time i run it it claims the drivers are all still there. The absolute best way is a fresh OS install but thats too much work uless you realize that it seems to be the final option

I have been using ATI man for awhile now. I haven't run across any issues I sure hope it doesn't cause system corruption....but it seems to get the drivers out fine.

Ive never changed drivers when switching from AMD to AMD cards.

Just swap cards and reboot, it'll detect the difference and ask for another reboot. Good to go!
