Is a corsair 650D worth the money?

I was tossing up wether to get a corsair 650D but if I do get it it just means I'll have to downgrade the motherboard becuase I won't have the money. So is this case worth the downgrade of a motherboard? Or should I get a something like cm HAF or trooper and have a good motherboard with it?

I should say if I don't get Corsair 650D I would go with a

Coolermaster RC-912
or
coolermaster storm enforcer

So would it be worth it?

They're completely different cases, what are you looking for in terms of features etc?

Corsair cases are lovely. Can you post your component details? so we can tell you if your motherboard downgrade would actually make a difference or not.

i would go with the better case as hardware will always be changing performance wise, and in maybe 2-4 year u will upgrade your motherboard so having the better case will benefit you in the long run although im not sure if 650d has better cooling the the cm 912 but imo the 650d looks better.

Yeah I was going with a MSI Z77-Mpower Z77 but if I bought the 650D I would downgrade to a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H
post #7 of 10
The Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H is a solid motherboard from Gigabyte. Go with the Corsair case, overclocking wise you won't make out any difference between the two boards.

Another board I recommend is the asrock z77 extreme4. A lot of people over here are happy with it.

Thx for advice thumb.gif
I say it is worth it. The case looks elegant with lots of space to work with. And like what chip94 said, you may want to check out some Asrock boards, they have good boards that comes with a cheaper price thumb.gif

I second this...

...but I deny this. The Z77 Extreme4 has mediocre MOSFETs.
