1045T is great buy still widely available if you can't get your 1090T fixed.

And oh yeah, looks like its going out of stock everywhere. No the M5A97 has a 4+1 power phase, so its the lesser version, whereas the M5A97 PRO has a 6+2 power phase.

If not this is the alternative I would look at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B005504QAA/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

Bit more expensive but a good board.

The 2nd is cheaper and if you never plan on adding a 2nd GPU then it is all you need, they both will play nicely when you OC.
He has a crossfire set up. If your going to replace the mother board. Look for one with 16*16 or 16*8 or 8*8 pcie lanes. the 4x lane will cause a bottle neck.
on a side note. while in crossfire, You sill only have 1gb of ram, as the ram on the second card is not used.

Beaware though that the cheaper 970 chipset boards have the 2nd PCIe at X4

The 990XA has it at X8 (with a 3rd at X4)

I stil be able to crossfire it though right ? with a small gap ... ?

This MSI mobo only has a 3 cm gap between each GPU xD

Not referring to the gap but the speed the lane operates at its better (and a bit costlier) to have the 2nd lane at a higher speed like the 990xa with it at X8 (or even a 990FX at X16), it will work at X4 but for the sake of £13 more I would get the 990xa.

Ahhh good glad other people pointed that out didn't realise you were running crossfire.

Yeah go for the 990X chipset at least. Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 is your best bet then smile.gif
