sounds like maybe your output is swiching?

what port are you using?

Did you recently replace the TIM on the card by any chance. Check if there is TIM stuck onto the VRM's of the card. Booting in safe mode allows the card to run at the lowest possible voltage settings. I've seen this before and saved many cards from going into the trash due to this.

I believe I figured it out. The top PCI-e slot is not working correctly. If I use the card in a lower slot it functions perfectly. So gonna buy a Mobo and PSU this weekend.
