some simple gpu wc questions.

hey guys, it is WAY too early to begin thinking of a new build, but of course i already am. I have had my gigabyte windforce3 7050 crossfire setup for a little over a month now, and while i like it i am not sure it was the best path i could have taken. Since these cards oc so well, i feel like i am missing out on a bunch of performance due to the additional heat moving to the top card. the max i feel safe with will warrant i only go about 1000 to 1050ish each card. So for my next build i think i am going to just stick with one monster card and put it underwater. My question is do crossfire gpus cooled with water behave the same as ones on air? does the excess heat from the bottom card limit your ability to oc the top card? or does the water keep it cool enough it does not matter thanks.

Yes, water will help with top card, but a bit overzealous, I think here. You can overclock these babies slightly, avoid excess heat, and still kill any game.

oh yeah, performance is not the issue, it honestly has come down to cost. for the money i spent on two 7950s, i could have gotten a 7970 and a waterblock it seems. so just curious.
