True story. Even my crummy Dell laptop with integrated Graphics can run that. smile.gif

Lol you obviously don't know what you're talking about. I do, however, agree that I don't recommend prioritizing on getting a SSD on your tight budget. Saying that a SSD will do nothing for a game, specifically BF3, is completely false. A SSD would DRASTICALLY decrease load times in BF3 which is nice especially when changing maps. You will spawn faster which gives you a much higher chance of getting a vehicle or aircraft if you want to get into one of those. With a regular HDD, you will load much slower and in which most cases will most likely spawn after the round has already started where all or most of the vehicles are already gone.

No, I clearly don't know what I'm talking about, I just have an SSD.

A proper optimized Windows install and a decent 7200RPM drive is more than enough. SSD should be the last of your priorities.

Yea I agree a SSD shouldn't be one of his priorities but I'm just saying you shouldn't say that a SSD doesn't help or affects it at all lol

Okay, but saying that it won't help him in games is just stupid...

Is this a good rig? smile.gif
Processor: AMD FX-4170 quad-core @4.2GHz (
Ram: 8GB Kingston Hyper X
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB
HDD: 1TB WD Green
Power: Silverstone Strider Essential 500W

I'd try and get a basic i5 for this rig on a basic sort of board, keep the 7870 though for sure! thumb.gif
