1/2" Barbs and 1/2" ID 3/4" OD hose, leaking

So I got some Clearflex 60 1/2" ID 3/4" OD hose and they seem to leak when slightly tilted or even if its left still, it leaks 1-2 drops every half and hour. I already ordered two Ek Compression fittings but need 4 more. Which fittings should I get to ensure a leak-free system?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-4-BSPP-1-2-ID-3-4-OD-Compression-Fitting-Black-Nickel-/200684138751?pt=UK_Computing_Water_Cooling&hash=item2eb9b4f0ff

^How is that fitting? I'm okay with barbs too as long as they don't leak.

i dont mean to ask the obvius but you do have clamps on the hose over thease barbs? something like http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15252/ex-tub-1218/Bitspower_Luxury_Reusable_34_OD_Hose_Clamp_-_Black_BP-SLTC7AL-BK.html

as for your compression fittings the EK fittings are a good fitting as well as bitspower

is one to look at. yes more money than that ebay bid, but good solid construction and has built in sealing rubber so Teflon tape is not needed unlike the one you found on ebay. the teflon has the chance of getting into your system if not extremely car full.

^What he said. Barbs are just as secure as compression fittings as long as you use proper clamps.

Yes I'm using worm clamps (The ones you get with the XSPC kit). Without them on, the tubing comes off the barbs effortlessly. I don't want to spend so much over compressions so I was looking at something cheaper. How are the XSPC Coin Fit compressions? And what about the EK PSC 1/4" Thread Compression Fitting for 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD Tubing? I already ordered them a while back so I can always order more or them. What I was thinking was, going for cheaper compressions or barbs on the rad/pump and Ek PSC ones on the block.

so that worm clamp just seems to weak for the pressure. nothing a trip to the hardware store cant fix for 0.50$ a clamp

any EK fitting will do just fine. they are a good company as well.

as for the XSPC fittings have not herd much about them nor do i have experience. sorry cant help you there.

Tried using steel clamps and Zip-Ties, nothing works. I ordered 6x Ek Compression Fittings.

You sure there isn't just a crack in the barb or hose?

change to 7/16 inch tubing is what I would do. Much tighter fit and let potential of leaks. I don't even use those ugly clamps.

Checked and double checked, its not a crack in the hose nor the barb. The barb is too small for the 1/2 ID hose.

I used to have 7/16 inch tubing but those are too small and I've to cut it everytime I want to get them out of the barbs. I guess the Compression Fittings will be fine.
