So I have been trying to find a way to mount my Recon inside the case as I have so much radiator I dont have room anywhere else.
So I took the mounting bracket as it was just to long to fit where I wanted it and not hit the PSU.
So here is the steps I took
First I took off the mesh that I had on the sides and decided the only way I was going to be able to mount this thing was either take mesh and put it where the cable routing holes are or take a piece of aluminum and make a different cover(like LongRoadTrip) I know his is acrylic but I still want to do the glowing piece under the motherboard. So I used the mesh, and some L brackets I had from my Vulcan PSU cover.
So there is the bracket mounted. All I did was place the L brackets using the holes on the side of the bracket after I cut the sides. Then I cut a little section in the mesh for the screw to go into.
Then before I got to far I decided to throw some white LEDs behind the tray.
Then to make sure it all worked I put the fan controller back in
Then I powered it up just to see how it looks...I know it looks weird with wires hanging all over but this was just a test run.
Now I need to work on getting the radiator offset bracket made and get everything sleeved.
I also have an announcement to make for everyone but I feel like i should wait until the time is right
Keep a little suspense going in this thread
