GTX680 2Gb SLI or 4Gb SLI? Architectural and 3D rendering.

I'm putting together a computer for gaming, however during the Uni semesters it's going to be used for architectural and 3D rendering.
I've read plenty of reviews on the differences between 2 and 4gb 680s in single and SLI for gaming applications, I'm just wondering if anyone can give any advice on whether the 4gb cards will benefit me when it comes to rendering.

The rest of the build looks like this:
3930K
Rampage IV Extreme
32GB 1866
Liquid cooled

I'd say 4GB easily then, simply because even if you don't need it just yet it's there. Plus rendering programs generally like a lot of vRAM.

Ya, I would definitely get a 4gb. I dont do a lot of rendering but I game at 2560x1600 which presses 2gb and 4960x1600 which is well beyond it...at 5760x1080 you will want 4gb.
