The cases I've been mainly looking into are from Silverstone, Lian-Li, Corsair, and Case Labs. Anyone think any of these manufacturers in particular make a good case for air cooling? Or should I purchase a case that's probably considered for water cooling and just use it for air cooling like the TJ07. The SM8 from Case Labs is also quite awesome looking. But both are probably more preferred for water cooling.
There are a lot of great cases for you to choose from.
But, going by what you said, you really like Silverstone cases, and you did mention the TJ07.
I would recommend checking out some of the TJ07 builds here, yes, most are watercooled, but you can run a nice air cooled build in one. Changing the default fan setup is an easy way to increase the airflow, and you can use Lian-Li vented 5.25" covers in the front for air intake, if you wanted to mount a couple 120mm fans there.
That's if you want to stick with Silverstone, and the look of the TJ07 appeals to you. I had at least a dozen cases from Antec, CM, Lian-Li, etc., but somehow always had the TJ07 in mind.
After getting one last summer, I'm glad I did. And I was going to just do an air-cooled build in it originally. Until the water cooling bug bit me:D
