So under full load with prime95 my core voltage goes from 1.176v to 1.182v an back to 1.176. I am on a AsRock z77 pro 3 board. I have -0.020 already for the offset. It lowered it some. Should I keep going negative volts tho?

You can lower core voltage until you become unstable, but you shouldn't have to. Any particular reason you want to lower it?

I keep seeing lower volts with the same clock speed so I thought I was doing some thing wrong. I am on stock cooler for the time being. Ordering a evo 212. Soon as I get it I want to go for 4.5ghz.. So my thought was the lowest stable volt at 4ghz would give me better head room to up the volts for higher clock speed. Sorry I am an OC noob. Still learning.redface.gif

Most do 4GHz at 1.0
