Yeah the more I look into it the more of a pain the 680 appears to be, I went over to the evga forums and some of the work arounds seem pretty extreme, like soldering parts on the card to get the ability to control the voltage. Im really liking the PhysX demos I have seen in the games that use them im just not sure if im ready to take a soldering iron to my cards yet.
I mean with ATI you open up CCC and slide everything to the right except fan control and that is about as complicated as it gets if you are on water. I just don't see the advantage to going with Nvidia besides PhysX.
I am going to look into possibly doing that thing the other poster mentioned where I have another Nvidia card dedicated to PhysX but I will have to research that a little bit.

Crossfire 3 7970s and get 1 gtx 560ti/660ti for physx .

To me PhysX is kinda worthless to few games use it to make it a valid deal breaker.

But if your Goal is to play PhysX heavy Games Like Borderlands 2 then yah u would want 1 gpu just for that then.
