While I agree that 16gb has no effect on gaming performance, but system performance does show improvement. I tend to run a bunch of background tasks while I'm playing games and it never shows any signs of decreased performance. If you're only playing games though 8gb is plenty. I started with 8gb 1866 black and ended up adding 8gb 1866 blue a few months later, plus it looks nice. biggrin.gif
