Nice looking worklog thus far, BrinNutz. You've got an amazing desk there with your three (it looked like it) PCs running on/around it.

Damn, what I wouldn't give for (a) the time and (b) the money to get some more parts and/or do some modding...
Hell yea, you know gobygoby is from Indiana as well. We're takin this place over! w00t..LOL..

Also, this hasn't cost much, except for the paint supplies so far..

I don't know for sure yet, but ira, I really was thinking of putting this behind the HDD and floppy and CD drives, so it would hide the back of them, and cutout spots for cables..whattaya think?

I'm gonna go take pics of my new work area real quick..since I don't have to work today, b/c it's ****ty weather out.

I think it could look pretty cool...Have you tried any of that U-Channel Bill has ? That stuff would be great to trim your mesh edges with..

The mesh edges wouldn't be visible..

I would bend the edges in, and then insert the piece inside the 5.25" bay from the rear, and then screw it into the sides, flush with the rear edge of 5.25" bay

I do not, I was just going to do what you said..if you notice, I just bought two small C Clamps...look back a page to when I bought the Bondo and stuff. Mirror too..From autozone.

Anywho, here's where most of the work is going to happen. We just moved in this past summer, so a lot of stuff is still in the garage, but I cleaned out a little corner and sectioned it off with some hard foam stuff leftover from the build.

I sectioned it off like this to help prevent overspray and such. Also, I am trying to figure out how I'm going to build a small workbench in there..LOL

I'm going to stop at Autozone again today to see if they have anymore blue paint for my internals, and then I'm also going to look at getting some laquer thinner to clean off this mesh, so I can at least prime that, after I get it shaped to what I want.

I wish..LOL

I actually had yesterday off, and because of the weather, I unfortunately (like I really wanted to work anyways), had today off as well...

I've decided not to get the Alphacool tank, I'm just getting the top, and I'm using a DD Fillport with Res.

Hey ira, could I just get a fitting that looks like a + , and connect the top one to the fillport, and the bottom one to a drain plug by chance?
