Trouble running memory at rated specs

Hey guys,

This is the ram I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231461

I'm currently having trouble running it at its rated specs of 9-9-9-24, 1.25v and at 1600mhz. When I do so, the computer fails to boot up completely - it turns on, then seems to restart itself with the system losing power (even the chassis fans stop and then start again).

This occurs even when I have my 3770k at stock voltages and speeds. When overclocked at 4.4ghz, I get an 0x50 BSOD, however it occurred 3 hours in.

I have run memtest86+ overnight and it passes with no errors detected and so I am quite confused as to exactly why this is happening.

Finally, on AUTO setting, the board seems to overvolt the memory - running it at 1.35v. Is this bad? For me it seems as though running the memory at 1.25 seems to cause stability issues.

Should I RMA the memory, or are there further tests I should run as memtest86+ was pretty much inconclusive.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, they are hanging with X.M.P.

Would this be faulty ram or fault ram slots?

As before - I ran memtest, however it reports no errors, yet when I attempt to run it on rated specs through XMP, it continually crashes and reboots - not even reaching desktop.

I have reverted the BIOS to stock settings while trying to run through XMP - still crashing.
