I need good monitors to replace my 10 year old Koji. I have a GTX 560ti.
Looking for good monitors with good colors and response time. It's been a LONG time since I've monitor shopped so I am out of the loop. I prefer Amazon or Newegg, but a good deal can override that tongue.gif
Prefer each one is at are around $150 if possible. Trying to not hit the wallet too hard.

So, the budget has been cut. I have $200 total lol, looking for one monitor around $150 now.

Which of these is the better?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009255
Slower Response Time: 5ms
Better Contrast Ration: 12,000,000:1
LED Lighting

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059
Better Response Time: 2ms
Contrast Ratio: 20,000:1
Slightly Brighter, no LED
$20 cheaper after rebate.

Get this one and thank me later:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DWITHI/ref=oh_details_o09_s00_i00

It's an IPS monitor and looks fantastic for the price. I accidently got a non IPS which is only like $10-20 difference and regreted it so I sent it back for this one. With IPS you get nice even colors from any angle. Works flawless with gaming, movies etc etc. Love mine

EDIT: Heres another thats just a bit smaller for 25 less.

Thanks, after poking around the web and doing some research. I will go for the ASUS VS239H-P. For some reason, my family likes to believe anything more than $120 for a monitor is Highway Robbery. Then again, they don't understand tech.

Ok, one more time, sorry guys.
The VS239H-P for $175 or the VG23AH for $180?
Its an amazon warehouse deal, never bought anything from amazon warehouse but heard good things.
Or a ViewSonic VX2370SMH-LED 23 inch that is AH-IPS instead of e-IPS for $170

I just bought the viewsonic over the asus after looking at many reviews. Why? Simply because generally speaking, asus monitors are not always the highest quality, and asus' customer service can be awful at times. And the viewsonic just came out in the past month or two I believe, and I like newer tech. smile.gif

I got the Asus VG23AH. I figure if I don't like it or something is wrong with it I can return it to amazon. I like the Viewsonic, though. If I do end up returning the asus, the the Viewsonic add my next choice.

Thanks, got it tonight and it has debris INSIDE the LCD. I was soooo disappointed. Amazon is refunding me, but it still sucks.

Then what do they say about ~$200 CPUs and motherboards?
