Which drivers are you using? And which ones have you tried?

After seeing it not function with the latest 310.70 drivers I have not tried any other drivers. I will attempt a clean install of the latest stable in a minute and post back with results.

Try the last WHQL 306.97 drivers. I've also seen 310.33 install automatically through windows 8.

Still the physX window (latest stable WHQL). I'm using fresh downloads now, as apposed to my previously downloaded copies too.

Let me try the update from Windows update

nVidia - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Other hardware - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480

Download size: 226.0 MB

You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect.

Update type: Important

nVidia Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Other hardware software update released in October, 2012

More information:

Help and Support:

Edit: That failed. Killed the software distribution/download folder and re-downloading the update.

Edit 2: It found 2 rather large Win8 Updates, but hasn't found the nVidia one again. 2 Restarts and it doesn't see that driver I just linked. Pulling 310.33 from geforce.com

Is it possible the SLI bridge is NOT omni-directional? I read a post on guru forums that said some older cards it matters?

Nope.

Edit: I also just rotated my SLI bridge, just for giggles. No dice.

The cards are set up, but yes the current problem is SLI is not populating as an option. I've tried 306.97 - 310.33 and 310.70 since I restored my OS last night (Win8 64 bit). Only thing installed is CPU-Z, nVidia drivers and supplemental software and chrome. All available windows updates were pushed through.

Edit: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/4850439

I did this a few weeks ago, and obviously it was functioning then. This is before I had my 210 installed and nukked everything up.

will you go into the physics tab and click the drop down menu where you select your physics processor and take a screen shot? I want to see what your options are

if you had Windows 7... I'd suggest forcing it with HyperSLI... but apparently it doesnt work with Win8. I'm really puzzled with this... just to ask the question... since you have a tri sli board, have you tried the 1st and 3rd slot using the hard bridge?

edit: never mind that. i just realized both your cards are being detected anyway. changing the slot shouldnt change a thing

edit2: try downloading hypersli, apparently its working with Win8. I know that your board supports SLI out of the box but its just not coming up. I believe it works with 306.97 drivers. Heres the link (http://anatolymik.itzod.ru/HyperSLI/HyperSLI_0.96.exe)
