Well yes this is a major screw up for Apple it should get better.

That may be true or not, I don't know. However this late in the game and I don't need top mention whats at stake, there is no room for this level of error.

I lol'd for awhile at the map fail.

In seriousness, body temperature is around 37.0C, so it is extremely dangerous. However, why are people relying on GPS where there is no cell phone service?

This is Darwinism at its finest. People don't check how much gas they have in the tank and how many miles are ahead of them to the next gas station. Good riddance.

Being on an overclocking computer forum, you should be able quickly learn to discern between celsius and farenheit.

Seriously, every car needs to have a map and a compass. A phone can only do so much.

Ell oh ell sir.

Thats pretty bad for Apple maps, they defiantly should have pulled it by now, its pretty rubbish.

However im embarrassed for Australians that these people have come to this...
Quote:
Some of the motorists located by police have been stranded for up to 24 hours without food or water and have walked long distances through dangerous terrain to get phone reception.

Why wouldn't you just turn around and drive back the way you came? 70km is less than an hours drive depending on the speed limit....
