I used windows 8 for slightly over a month. I had to revert to Windows 7 because I was starting to have some issues. While playing games, the FPS would suddenly drop to arround 20 and would not go back up. This was in all the games I played weather internet browser based (runescape) or fully installed games on steam / origin.

After going back to windows 7 I had none of these issues. I did begin to like how windows 8 worked, but 20 FPS with a 7970 is unacceptable.

I swear!... sometimes you just want to punch someone in the face haha , but yeah... it's the internet, and noobs know how to set up internet connection nowadays lachen.gif...

people that hate on windows 8 need to get checked for stability... There is no decline in performance I don't know how much i can stress that. The only difference is that you get more goodies smile.gif.

i am running SLI with NO issues, if you run sli with no issues, then i wonder what the problem with windows 8 is... mad.gif

The problem is often behind the keyboard.

For the most part they are the same, but in the cases where one is better, it's Windows 8. Especially if you have an AMD CPU
