10 hrs of battery life is not really 4 or 5 day battery life

For those that don't know, crack open an Ipad and you'll notice that most of it's insides consists of a huge battery smile.gif

As for Ipad versus Google debate, the Ipad is better.

Why? A tablet by design is made for ease of use, pleasant display, and intense media consumption. A tablet is not made for overclocking or hacking. So the Ipad wins by default.

I sold mine though because I couldn't find anything to use it for.

I cant believe this thread is actually respectful...

I sold my 64GB wiFi + 3G iPad 3 for the equivalent 4th gen simply because I could get $600 for it and why the hell not?

The LTE is the best new feature IMO, amazing speeds. The slowness is what killed me with the 3G. The iPad 3rd gen CPU and GPU speeds were never struggling so the 4th gen seems the same to me, although I guess like all products when iOS 7 is out, the older ones start to slow down so ill be good then.

The 720p front facing camera is nice and all but unless you are taking selfies its pointless, facetime just drop the quality depending on your speed.

As for the new connector, its cool and all, nice and small, good change, I didn't have any products except for the dock that I cant use anymore, so im happy with it. Wish they made lightening docks though cant understand that one :/

Oh and I re used my black leather smart cover, glad it still works.

All in all, for people wanting to buy a new iPad its a great set of few upgrades.

For existing iPad 3rd gen owners, I Upgraded because I could and I wanted to, but its not necessary thumb.gif

My advice is to put yours on eBay and watch it get purchased in no time!

Can't you just use Skype and you won't have the quality lowered like with FaceTime? I assume you're using AT&T.

Is there really no difference in speed between the iPad 3 and 4? I tried out the iPad 4 in the apple store comparing my iPad 2 and switching apps always loaded faster (using hand swipes). Never any waiting. Web pages loaded way faster too.

They've been announced and released at the same time if I recall correctly.

So if I'm interested in buy an iPad 4, should I wait or just go out and get one now? I hate the fact that apple has instilled this fear in me that something better is always around the corner.
