Couple questions about some simple case mod ideas

I'm buying a Silverstone tj08b-e and im considering putting a window on the side and some cold cathode or led lighting in it.

First question.
For such a small case, which should I use?
Cathode or led?
I'm not looking to floodlight the interior, and but add some nice accents and showcase the hardware. Led is the right choice for that in a small case right?

Second question.
The tj08b-e is pretty small. What would be the best way to go about getting a window on it? Rivets? A rubber wraparound? Glue?

Lastly, since CyberDruid retired has anyone been able to fill the void he left?
I can borrow what i need to do the Window myself from my father without much trouble(it would actually be a nice excuse to take a day off and go visit my parents), but im more than willing to ship the side panel to someone if they can do it more professionally than i can if there is anyone on this forum who provides a service like that.

1) LEDs, saves room and generally provides a better color (especially when talking red)

2) Depends on which method you prefer to deal with. I like rivets because I don't have to worry about it falling out, ever.

3) I have not seen anyone offering services of the such yet

That brings me to my next question then.
Can anyone recommend an LED kit?
I dont want it to be like the NZXT kits on amazon where you get little specks of light every couple inches.
I would prefer some LED strips or something similar that I can position in specific places.
Im going to be going for White or Red(probably white)

I just read in another post here where these http://www.logisyscomputer.com/products.asp?PID=STRIP&DID=LED were recommended. Though those are strips so maybe that is not what you are looking for.

The LED strips from this company are amazing. Little on the pricey side but its one of the best I've seen

Cold Cathodes have one minor advantage in that they produce light along their entire length. LED strips, especially in a small case, will give you a dotted effect. My recommendation is to get your hands on some matte mylar film to put over the strips to act as a diffuser if you decide to go that route.

Any thoughts as to the size of your window you want to do? I can do window mods, and also have a laser engraver if you're interested in any sort of graphics work on it. If not, let me know if you have any questions on the process or would like some design input.
