PCI-E extender ribbon. He could lay the video card sideways parallel with the mobo. He could even have a full size water block on it.

That's what I'm curious about maybe with a Mini ITX he could have enough space for a small one but I can't imagine any serious setup in there

Something like this must work for size. And to run something like a i3 and a dedicated card like a 7770 wouldnt be to much for it.

Though if you have 10cm to work with even a dual or single 80mm rad should fit.

oh wow, didnt know they did radiators like that! but say, two of them one for the card and the cpu should be alright

If I use a Mini ITX motherboard with the pci extender, they both lay down flat. If I use a full cover waterblock for the 7850 I want to use, it will make it a single slot card, and if I use this Swiftech Low Profile CPU block like in the "most powerful NES" thread, The motherboard and graphics card will be almost flat. I'm going to tak an ITX power supply and turn it 90 degress, so it's sitting long ways with the back, and mount a Slim dual 120mm rad in front, face down, long ways like the psu.

I'll load up the CAD files when I get back from Winter Break, to really show what I'm saying.
