iirc some ppl have had a hard time overclocking ram on z79 boards. Not sure if its just the Samsung ram or all ram... might be worth a search thru the Intel forum or Samsung wonder ram thread.

Looks like a killer build. thumb.gif I'd personally change the SSD to A Crucial M4 or Samsung 830. They're last-gen, proven to be fast for the $$, and on sale lately (if you can find them in stock).

Agree with the other dude who said 1200W is overkill. Get an AX850.

thanks smile.gif i came from thailand 2-3 weeks before and i looked for crucial and samsung alot in bangkok pantip plaza but couldnt find it so just bought this one smile.gif here in the middle east its impossible to find these stuff specially in qatar where i live unfortunately i was really amazed when i went to pantip plaza it was like heaven for me 7 floors of just computer it was simply wonderful tongue.gif used to wander around just to look at the people building rigs i suggest you guys visit smile.gif was really cheap also .

From my personal experience, RAM coolers are more for aesthetics than for performance and Manufacturers use this as a means to heighten prices. Your better without it, and if you want you RAM to look nice, there are several RAM heatsinks available on the cheap. thumb.gif

RAM coolers are stupid and redundant... They don't really do anything to improve your cooling of your memory. It's a sales ploy imo

yeah i figured that but just wanted to ask

anyways guys i tried to find the samsung rams on ebay but can't seem to find any below 51$ same as the one on newegg avliable for 30$ :/ newegg dosent accept my debit card i tried. i can only pay by paypal and newegg says something that my address on paypal is unconfirmed :/ don't know why i bought alot of stuff on ebay so can you guys give me the second best i guess :/ any alternative choice to this ?
