Artifacting problem, 7950 ( Sapphire Vapor-X Boost edition )

Hi there, so I bought a 7950 and had artifacting. Thought I had a duff card, no big deal. Now I have a replacement and I have artifacting again. ( Both stock settings ) So i'm thinking this would either be a driver problem or perhaps something else? I know people have had a lot of these problems. I mainly play GW2 / WoW - Have had artifacting in both games. Any ideas?

Looks like software issue rather than hardware. Have you tried a video stress test (3dmark 11 or other benchmarks to see if there are artifacts there)? If they don't, you can really only assume there's a conflict (esp since the problem goes away after alt+tab'ing back into the game)

Welcome to the wonderful world of ATI drivers. Please leave your sanity at the door.

Try 12.8, they are the least buggy.

Fill out your rig so we see what ya got. It's a hunch, but my card would artifact after bringing my PC back from sleep mode, only when I brought it back from sleep....it was a motherboard bios issue. Updated my bios and that issue went away. Maybe check to see if your motherboard has a bios update and that might be it.... That's my guess since you've already replaced the card once...
