Razer Krait 2013 quick review - Page 2

How do you feel about the width of the mouse? the length and height are pretty similar, but the width is quite thin when compared to mice with these dimensions (thinnest mouse I know of even the pge salmosa). Thoughts? Once you open up the mouse and document the internals this review will look pretty good. biggrin.gif

The width doesn't bother me one bit.
I don't see the need to open it to confirm what we already know, it shares the same sensor as the DA 2013. thumb.gif

Nice review! Mine should be arriving hopefully this week. I was concerned about that width of the Krait, but this review put me at ease for now. As someone that prefers mx300 style mice for RTS games I'm looking forward to giving this a shot.

Indeed, if you like the mx300, i'm close to positive you'll love the krait. At least for the way I grip the mouse, it's a perfect replacement. I rest my ring finger on the little ledge on the side of the mouse button. The ledge which on the abyssus was part of the mouse button (and it drove me nuts).

Best of luck, I hope the shape suits you. The sensor definitely will.

Yea, that was one reason i never could use my abyssus. That ledge was never comfortable to grip!

Nice, man. Glad you're liking it. thumb.gif I was thinking of getting it myself but I stumbled upon a great offer for a new G400 and kind of impulse bought it (half what the Krait costs on eBay w/ priority shipping). Besides, the lack of side buttons was a bit inconvenient for me. tongue.gif
