i5 2500k Broken?

Hi,

I'm sorry about the new thread, but I didn't find answer anywhere.

So, here is the problem. I'm not sure if my i5 2500k is broken or what is going on, but right I'm suffering some kind of performance problems. I noticed that highly CPU demanding games like Hitman absolution and far cry 3 my FPS jumps up and down and fps also does sometimes drop unusually low. My CPU is overclocked at 4.4GHz, it's been like this 2-3 years(?) for now and I have ever had any issues with overclock.

When I run 3D mark11 I can see that my physics score is 500-800 points lower than it usually is.
Now I'm getting scores between 7200-7500 when score used to be 8000+. In HwInfo64 and windows performance monitor I can see that every core get stressed like they should and everything looks good over the performance monitors, but there really is something going on right now. When starting the windows it feels like it takes forever or if I'm starting some other programs it feels like computer is thinking for a while before it does something.

I did adjust more voltage to the core, but that didn't help anything. Nothing has been changed in the BIOS... what I have done is that I did installed WIN8 on Sunday.

Do I just need to calm down or be a worried?

Thanks Mates!

Should be under 70, but I will check that again just to make sure.

Sandy Bridge came out last year, hardly 2 years old.

It sounds like you need to do a full reformat (driver/OS issue).

Trying to start 3D Mark 11 and it does give me this:

Workload Single init returned error message: DXGI call IDXGISwapChain::SetFullscreenState failed:

The requested functionality is not supported by the device or the driver.

DXGI_ERROR_NOT_CURRENTLY_AVAILABLE

SimpleTech: I did format the disk when I installed windows8, but it's not the first time when something goes wrong straight.

Oh okay, I was gonna ask how you build your computer, I doubt that guy can even move his arms with all those muscles/steroids in the way. xD

Temps are good,

After one run of 3D mark 11:

So you think that I should format my disk and make windows installation again?

I have to say this just to make sure,

That man in this picture has nothing to do with muscles, that "thing" in his hand is just oil. Oil which does expands the muscle tissue.
It's incredibly stupid to inject that **** in your "muscles".
