at the very end, when it shows a fatal error, does this mean its a unstable oc? cause it usually fails right at the end and i assumed it was unstable cause of that

Yes it's unstable, but as far as I know heaven is the hardest benchmark to pass. As laong as your just gaming and you don't crash too often, your fine.

Heaven is a good quick test of stability (in that if it fails Heaven, it'll probably fail in demanding games also) but BF3 and Far Cry 3 seem to be much more stressful of overclocks. So quick test it with Heaven, and if it passes then play some of those games (if you have them) and see how it fares. I wouldn't rely solely on Heaven.

After testing every software out there, Heaven is the only one that comes close to fully testing our cards. Its not perfect, and it needs to be updated for Kepler cards.

If you want a true real world test, then run Heaven and play BF3 at the same time. Or run heaven and watch a movie at the same time.
If you dont get a crash or artifacts, then your OC is good and stable. It might take 5min or 15min, but if your system is unstable then it will crash.
