what case and ram do you have?

why bother making suggestions without knowing those 2 things lol?

nvm just wasnt in sig

honestly if you are only going to 4.5GHz on 3770K and not folding 24/7 all you need is a 212EVO

4.5GHz? The Havik is good. You probably don't even need to spend that much. http://www.nansgaminggear.net/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=TS-140 is what I'd buy.

Generally the bigger the cooler the better it cools and quieter it will be

Reason is simple:
More cooling capacity = alot more cooling at same airflow, less cooling with less airflow, little less cooling with fan's idling and probably cool system at idle with fans off.

Adavantage of having more cooler than required for your CPU OC is you can run fan/fans slower meaning it will be quieter.

920 with TC14PE w/2x TY-140/143 fans running prime or IBT = 55-60c @ 1000rpm and idles 33-38c @ 700rpm. Case has 3x of same fans running same rpm.
Can barely hear it at full load.
All fans unplugged running prime = taking 30 minutes to reach 70c but goes no higher.

Same system with U12P w/2x TY-14o fans running prime was 67-68c @ 1300rpm; idle 36-41c @ 720rpm
Could definitely hear it at full load! Not real loud but you knew it was working.

System now:
980 with TC14PE w/2x TY-140/143 fans running prime or IBT = 44-50c @ 1000rpm and idles 23-25c @ 660rpm. Case has 3x of same fans running same rpm.
Can barely hear it at full load.
All fans unplugged running prime = taking 30 minutes to reach 70c but goes no higher.
