Which of these games should I get for my PS3?

I can buy around 3 games, 1 being full price and the others being cheaper. Here is what I have in mind:

Full price games:

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 - £35 (not exactly tired with MW3, but not exactly having fun either)

Assassin's Creed 3 - £37.82 (I've been playing the whole series ever since it started and I love it, however I only own the first game since I borrowed the others from friends. Not sure if I should go for PC later on either...)

Mass Effect Trilogy - £39.99 (I did play ME1 and ME2 on PC to the end, but I didn't play ME3. Again, I'm not sure if this would be better on PC)

Hitman Absolution - £29 (I did play about 2 Hitman games, but never finished them, although I liked them)

Cheaper games:

Final Fantasy XIII-2 - £9.21 (I still haven't finished the first XIII game, and really not sure if I liked it or not...)

Resident Evil 6 - £20 (I love RE up until 4, however 5 was a bit so so for me so I'm on the edge for this one...)

SSX - £17.69

Devil May Cry HD Collection - £17.82 (I never played any besides 3 and 4, and I barely got through the first level in 3 due to the difficulty so not sure if it's a good idea...)

Saints Row The Third - The Complete Package - £20 (Never played, tried playing the second game on PC but the port sucked)

Dead Island GOTY - £10 (Never played either, so I'm not sure if it's good?)

These prices are Amazon.co.uk prices, which is where I intend to order the games from. smile.gif Also, for the games that have the PC option, please consider my sig rig, because it may not run them well enough and if it's smoother on console I'd prefer to play it there.

I think Dead Island is worth the small cost of it. Not the best game you'll play, but fun enough.

I know, but the thing is, I like pretty much every genre, but I'm asking mainly because some of the games I don't know how good they are and/or if the PS3 is a good platform to play them on...

My opinion would be
Saints row
Resident evil
Assassins creed 3

If you can't get dead island too do it. It's not great but for cheap it's worth it.

Black ops 2. Best FPS hands down in my experience. My BF3 has been collecting dust since Black ops 2 was released.
AC3 wasn't as great as I expected, but if you liked the previous AC games, you would like this one as well.
Saints row the third. This game is a blast to kill time. biggrin.gif

Here's a suggestion: Try Fallout:New Vegas Ultimate Edition. If you like it, you could also get Fallout 3 GOTY Edition, which is cheaper because it is older.
Both versions include all of the add-ons, adding to the gameplay experience. They are first/third person shooters/RPGs/free play games. Large area to basically roam, many ways to play through them, overall fun games.

Based in a post-nuclear war wasteland, with mutations and both good and bad people.
Other than that, BF3 with all add-ons is fun, and IMO, has less noobs than Black Ops 2. BF3 has many ground and aerial vehicles and has a great SP campaign, Co-op campaign, and multiplayer experience.

Have you played Dragon's Dogma? That was the last cool game I played for PS3, in many ways I enjoyed it a lot more than Skyrim. The fights were really fun in that game.

Depending on how avidly you play and where you live I'd suggest renting Assassin's Creed III from the LIbrary for a week. It think it took me about 60 hours to platinum and alot less to finish the story mode. From what I saw I think the online multiplayer might get old very quickly once you reach the top levels and have finishe the challenges but I'm not a huge fan of online multiplayers except CS CZ. lol.

I would complete FFXIII before thinking about FFXIII-2 because enough ties back and there are quite a few spoilers. Still a very enjoyable game even if alot of people hate it for simplicity.

Saints Row the Third is often on steam sale for silly prices and was in the THQ bundle recently for even lower so maybe get that on PC and enjoy the higher res and fps?
