Ohh please. You just need to have a semi sense of reality and you will be fine. Ever play the flash game "Happy Wheels"? I am a father of two children, but I can remember multiple times of being at work and playing it during some down time and my co-workers and I would be in tears laughing so hard when the kid on the back of the bike got dismembered in a crazy way.

Games are similar to other media types. I notice alot of "bashers" speculating the morality of the OP's question. Morality is a question with two or more correct answers. Cannabalism exists today, just not in downtown metro areas, however, a game could not be as repugnant as a few of the movies I have watched. As far as a genre of terror, or historically referred to as macabre, no video game is currently released in developed countries that entail your specific desire.

To add (for the closed minded people), just becasue "you" wouldn't want to watch, or do something, does not qualify you as the voice of everyone. Creativity of the idea of cannabalism in a video game as the motivation is a limited market, however, the cutscenes would no doubt be intense.

I do not know how many times you would go through the motions before you were conditioned, and therefore would lose interest, but..........

Nothing is disturbing, except people telling me stuff should be disturbing, and then not being able to articulate why in any rational manner.

That said, I game based around cannibalism sounds about as entertaining as any other game based around eating stuff, which is to say probably not at all.

I suppose one could have a Dexteresque take on it...playing a character trying to fit in to mainstream society while at the same time needing to satiate some neurotic compulsion to eat people? Don't think it would get a serious treatment though.

It's all about how you come up with it. That is just one idea out of many possible ones. There is a story/game for everything, and i'm sure if enough people with some talent and motivation worked together, we could see a functional and 'fun' game that involved cannibalism as a central theme. What is someone simply took a different turn on classic vampirism, exploring the more scientific aspect of it being an extremely potent RNA/DNA altering virus. Other themes could be added in later to change the tone in almost any way, but still... what is instead of simply a need to take in fresh human blood, you needed fresh human tissue as well? Like a vampirism/mummy rot combo (for you DnD fans wink.gif )

Or it could be along the lines of Highlander...but instead of just chopping their head off you have to eat them to gain their "power"

Honestly with all the bath salts incidents I figured there would at least be some flash games or something along these lines. Maybe I'll make one over the upcoming holidays. I'll call it "The Accidental Zombies" ...a group of first year college students go on a bath salts binge and make a contest to see who can eat the most human faces before getting killed by the police and get extra points if they can start a Zombie Apocalypse rumor.
