if one item is e.g. corsair, the rest must be smile.gif

I am the same way I am trying to build only Corsair and MSI

As what goes for the powersupply, considering a Corsair AX750Watt - i believe this would be future proof?

I would say it is since PC components (mainly CPUs and GPUs) are becoming more and more power efficient. If you are planning on doing crossfire and multiple monitors you may need something like a 850W or higher.

I have not yet tried a ASRock motherboard, neither have i tried one from ASUS - i'm very uncertain about this point.

Personally I prefer MSI for their motherboards - but that's just my opinion.

Crank that 7950 and you'll be a happy camper thumb.gif Hopefully team Red suits you well!
(if you can afford a bigger SSD, I recommend it. Especially since you could probably go with the i5-k processor.)

my 2 cents, other than that, looks great!

For about $10 less than what you're spending on the Dominator Platinum Ram, you can get 16 gb of 2133 MHz G.Skill Ripjaws:

Also, I'd suggest spending the extra $50 and getting the Samsung 840 Pro. It's well worth it.

Do you need 16gb?
