HD 7870 2gb hawk edition, fans spining slow

The fans aren't spinning as fast as they were when I first got it. Please not I don't have any software inside or any os. I just finished building it and like the first 15 times I turned it in, the fans were spinning fast and not they aren't as loud and aren't exhausting as much air as it did. Is there something I can do?

Are they running cooler? Its closing in on winter and being in cooler room will decrease the need for active cooling, therefore not spinning the fans up as much. Apart from physical or firmware damage, that's the only explanation I can think of.

They only run as fast as they need to. If you turn your computer off and then back on, you will notice them spin fast at first because they spin backwards to remove dust.

Thats the thing I am worried about, when I first started it, it would be kinda loud cause of the dust removal for like 20 seconds but it's not as loud and not as much air flow anymore. It still spins but slower than usual.

my hawks actually stop spinnign when the monitor is off or not in a 3d application. this is very regular. the Twin frozer heat sink is very efficient, but i would not be worried unless you see high temps.

when i first saw they were stopped, i was like ***, but everything is working as needed.
