Nexus 7 warranty

Thread Starter
So my mom recently bought a used nexus 7 off of eBay as a christmas gift for my sister. I know that Asus provides a 1 year warranty on the nexus 7, but if there's problems with the tablet can we still send it in without the original receipt or anything?

You would have to go to ASUS directly as it was not purchased via Google. I can't get to the ASUS support website right now to check on the details for it, but I would assume that the warranty is still intact regardless. It hasn't even been out for a year.

The only time you'd need a receipt is if you needed to provide proof of purchase for establishing warranty coverage.
