I3 3225, GTX 660 for photoshop work, bluray playback, mild video encoding

Ill put this out there as the title states, im gonna use this with H77 mitx asrock board, 8 gigs of 1600 ram.I don't game so this wont be a concern. most of the video encoding I will be using will be with handbrake ( i know a I5 would be faster) What i want from the build is lower power output, and reliability. Also I will be using a 500 watt Corsair builders power supply, a Samsung 830 128 ssd, and a 2TB hitachi 7200 rpm drive. I will be runing windows 8 Professional as well. Any Thoughts? comments would be appreciated. thank you!

Still prefer the i5 lower tier quad-core, you will have lower power output by means of less time to encode, you can then turn off the pc, to save on bills.

Do you really need a 660 if you are not gamong at all?

I'm looking at a 660 for the cuda cores, Photoshop does use them for processing power.

You should check at the efficiency of Photoshop though. I can't imagine it would need more than a GTX650 or even the 650Ti to achieve a good balance of efficiency for cost/power consumption. I second the quad though.

You could pick up a used GTX 460 for like $90 it has CUDA cores and would be plenty for Photoshop.

Also, I second going with at least a i5 quad core.
