My Rig - How did I do?

Thread Starter
My first build. I just came into some money so I bought one beast of a comp. Tell, how did I do?

CASE: Azza Fusion 4000 Super Full-Tower 2-in-1 Gaming Case

CPU: Intel Corei7-3970X Extreme Edition Six-Core 3.50 GHz

FAN: Xtreme Hydro Liquid Cooling Kit 480MM w/ Triple Fan

HDD: 256GB ADATA SP900 x4 (1TB) Raid 0 Extreme + 1TB SATA

MEMORY: 16GB (4GBx4) DDR3/1866MHz Quad Channel Memory

MONITOR: * 24" Widescreen 1920x1080 ASUS VS247H-P LCD
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme Intel X79

NETWORK: Onboard Gigabit LAN Network

POWERSUPPLY: 1,000 Watts - Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold

SOUND: ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Channels PCIe

VIDEO: EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Classified 4GB

P.S, Let me clarify one thing, yes i know some of this machine is over kill but I am also a modeler/renderer and use this machine as a render farm and server (kind of). I use Maya/Houdini/Zbrush,etc. This isn't just for gaming.

Also, maybe you guys could help figure this out, I'm looking for a really good gaming keyboard and mouse. I definitively want a mechanical keyboard.
Any suggestions? The letters glowing in the dark are a plus, I've always liked that ability when gaming in a dark room and being able to see the keys lit up. Maybe a keyboard that has the option to turn them on and off?

MONITOR: * 24" Widescreen 1920x1080 ASUS VS247H-P LCD

1080p would be a waste, get something that goes past 1080p.

Edit: change the case too, and maybe a silverstone 850-1kwatt PSU.

thats just my opinion though

Did you get this list from cyberpower or some place like that??? I really hope your going to build this yourself and not but it per built.

http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=24507 Yours looks pretty dam close in specs.

Not a bad rig anyway.

There is when this looks like its from a website like i buypower. I noticed the +157 on the monitor.

If he's building a beast, why not? he did ask for opinions xD

Its decent though, dont get me wrong.

Edit:Gratz on the new pc, what did you pay for it? and are you building it your self?
